Another Option

So given my druthers, I would go with the carried away bag. But I also don't want to make everyone buy the book, or cause any ethical dilemmas! Soooo...although it isn't a felted bag, I offer this one up for your inspection.

Can't say I like it as much as the others that you posted last week. Something about the knitting needle...

I would happily go borrow the book at the local library, if that would absolve me of any ethical wrongdoing, since it actually IS at our local library and I'm likely to buy it eventually anyway.

I'm antsy to start some fast knitting, which I think all three felted bags promise to be, so I guess I don't care too much, as long as we get started!

I don't like the knitting-needle bag nearly as much as the felted bags, but I do like it.

I don't like the knitting needle part of the bag although I do like the rest of the design. Now it says she placed live stitches on the needle and then glued them into place, so I'm thinking one could substitute a pretty rod or wire from a craft shop for the knitting needle if one wanted to and get a nicer effect.

That said, on the whole, I'd rather do a felted bag, and I'm with Jody on doing something fast. So maybe we should just pick a felted bag?

I don't much care how folks get the pattern personally, I just didn't want to pick something that excluded anyone. So if there is someone who wants to knit but wouldn't if we picked the carried away bag, give a holler either here or via private email, or else I think we should go with the carried away bag...
