An offering

Given the possible ethical dilemmas with the Carried away bag, I thought I would offer up a free pattern that I like. It is called the Fibonacci bag.

That one is very cute! I'd go for it :).

I'll do whatever the crowd decides. I'm just here to confess that, uh, I've never really knitted from a pattern before. And now that I've read the free one through, and only understood about half of what it was trying to tell me, er, well, I think I'm going to need a lot of hand-holding.

It looks cute--but then, they all do. I'll sign on for whatever, and cross my fingers that a group will get me to FINISH something I start.

Well, since I'm the only one who looks to have gone looking for the pattern on Amazon, and since I can drive to the library on Tuesday and borrow the pattern book anyway, I'm not sure that there IS any dilemma. But I do like the looks of this bag, too. I'm pretty happy to knit any of them!

I think that I may be the only person that can't get the book from my library. They seem to be hopelessly behind when it comes to the latest knitting books.

No, Awesome Mom, my library doesn't have it either. I'd have to order it unless I get lucky and B&N at the mall has a copy.

Works for me if everyone else is game...shall we call it?

And Phantom, the internet is your friend when reading patterns. I almost always have to find a tutorial that explains what on earth the pattern is trying to tell me...
